Throughout many years, we established a fruitful partnership with Braskem, having developed and keeping such pace for executing dozens of LCA studies, including those of Green PE, chocolate powder packagings, surgical kits, LCIA method customization and raw materials assessments. Several services were and are being submitted of third party critical review, by international panels and by KPMG.

Whether the cardboard for packagings or the fluff pulp used in diapers, we support Suzano with multiple analyses starting from the cradle, the forest stage, until consumers. Comparisons with pulps produced outside Brazil, also validated by KPMG, besides the advantages and disadvantages of materials with recycled contents are some examples under development.

Klabin, committed to the sustainable development along its entire business chain, has also become one of our ACV Brasil's clients for developing Life Cycle Assessment studies. LCAs on products company are executed considering several impact categories, despite the interest in Global Warming. The modelling encompasses all life cycle stages of a paper product.

For many harvests we compute the environmental profile of the ethanol and the sugar produced by Raízen, with an agile technique for updating life cycle models of more than 20 mills located in the states of São Paulo, Mato Grosso do Sul and Goiás. The scope goes from land preparation to the final processing of products, also giving emphasis to indicators oriented to Carbon Footprint and Water Footprint.

We help Grupo Boticário on obtaining sustainability indicators for the packaging development. EF method, from the PEF initiative of European union, is used so the company can monitor and manage the environmental impact generated and so researchers get to know the environmental profile of packagings during the development stage, which opens up the possibility to wonder about alternatives.

CBA has been applying Life Cycle Assessment willing to reach the highest standards on international certification and as a strategy for defining goals and environmental indicators for several products in the aluminium supply chain. Devoted to the technical quality, CBA commissioned ACV Brasil, as independent consultants, to carry out the peer review of their LCA study, aiming to guarantee the compliance with requirements set on ISO 14044.

In 2020, we have completed a Life Cycle Analysis for Tetra Pak, allowing the company to identify improvement opportunities in the performance of its products. Our reports were issued complying with ISO 14044, and have gone through an external review process executed by SGS.

Running a Product Carbon Footprint, we supported Chesf on mapping Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions throughout the life cycle of different photovoltaic energy plants owned by the company. The study also provided a comparative assessment on GHG emissions associated with the energy production in several regions of the country.
