Social Hotspot Database

With the Social Hotspot Database, it is possible to identify social risks along the life cycle and the value chain, using over 150 indicators. It brings data on more than 250 countries, facilitating the development of Social Life Cycle Assessment. SHDB was developed by New Earth, and can be easily imported into SimaPro®.

The license also provides access to a portal, which offers you the possibilities to:

• - Visualize regional risks of more than 50 economic sectors,
• - Analyze multiple social aspects in the global value chain and
• - Compare the social performance of specific sectors in different countries.
